ON-LINE COLLEGE CREDITS: 2009 information.

To take advantage of the On-line college credits, you must have attended the full Alaska Girls State Session and received your graduation certificate.
RTG & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the formal approval of college leadership elective credits for the Summer 2009 Program at two regionally accredited Colorado institutions: Adams State College (ASC) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). Both Colorado institutions are regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. You as a Alaska Girls State Citizen can now earn credits in Citizenship (3 credits) and College Options (1 credit) from one of two quality institutions of higher learning. There is a separate direct link for each institution.
1. Adams State College (ASC) offers the following, as stated on our supporting website at this link: http://www.leadershipcredit.org/bgsc.php. ASC registration will be available effective 1 March 2009 - 31 July 2009. It is a significantly simple, two step (same day) registration process you are encouraged to test by registering yourself with real world information (your - email address, telephone number, mailing address and nearest local high school); but, you must include the word 'test' behind your name, i.e.: Bobtest Greenetest. Please enter the ASC registration site via the link provided at the beginning of this ASC paragraph. Then, click 'REGISTER HERE'.
HGP 179 - 3 credits: Special Topic: CITIZENSHIP
* Three leadership elective undergraduate credits - at a price of $60 per credit. (total for this three credit course $180)
* Citizens will automatically receive their College Success 101 CD Package at no charge from RTG & Associates, Inc upon registering.
ID 179 - 1 credit: Special Topic: COLLEGE OPTIONS
*One leadership elective undergraduate credit - at a price of $60 per credit.

2. University of Colorado at Colorado Springs offers the following, as stated on our supporting website at this link: http://jrotccollegecredit.info/bgsc.php
UCCS registration will be available on/after 1 April 2009 through 15 July 2009. Registration with UCCS is the same three-day process requirement as before, with CALL Numbers and the addition of a parental signed approved tuition payment agreement. Please review these requirements carefully at our supporting UCCS website. Testing the registration system is approved as long as you use the word 'test' behind your first name, and again, after your last name. Please enter the registration site via the link provided at the beginning of this UCCS oriented paragraph.
LEAD 152 - 3 credits: CITIZENSHIP
* Three leadership elective undergraduate credits - at a price of $65 per credit. (total for this three credit course $195), change from Summer 2008.
LEAD 161 - 1 credit: COLLEGE OPTIONS
*One leadership elective undergraduate credit - at a price of $65 for this one credit, change from Summer 2008.
*Citizens will have to pay $18 to receive their College Success 101 CD Package, a course requirement.
