You have entered the site for the Alaska Girls State program. This is one of the American Legion Auxiliary's Americanism and leadership programs.
The 2012 American Legion Auxiliary Alaska Girls State Session will take place at the Meier Lake Conference Center in Wasilla, Alaska on June 10th-16th, 2012.
Application deadline for registration is April 21, 2012. Applications must be into the Director by this date.
Registration packets will be mailed out upon receipt of application.

The American Legion Alaska Boys State is for young men that have completed their junior year in high school. The 2012 Boys State session is June 2nd-8th, 2012 at Meier Lake Conference Center in Wasila. Contact Boys State Director, Bill Jacobi at (907) 723-8028 bjacobi680@aol.com

Applications will be out to the American Legion Auxiliary Units by the end of December. The Dept Girls State applicaitons will be mailed out to rural Alaska schools. These will be going to all schools without an Auxiliary Unit to sponsor. If any Jr. student is interested, please send me an email and I will get the application packet to you personally.
