You have entered the site for the Alaska Girls State program. This is one of the American Legion Auxiliary's Americanism and leadership programs.
The 2014 American Legion Auxiliary Alaska Girls State Session will take place at the Salvation Army Kings Lake Center in Wasilla, Alaska on June 1st-7th, 2014.
Application deadline for registration is April 18th, 2014. Applications must be into the Director by this date.
Registration packets will be mailed out upon receipt of application.
Registration packets from the delegates are then due back to the Director by May 25th, 2014. Arrangements need to be made for food, paperwork, legislative divisions, etc. so need the number count to prepare for the session.

Applications will be out to the American Legion Auxiliary Units. Look in the School Unit Sponsor for the American Legion Auxiliary Unit that sponsors the delegates from your school.
The Dept Girls State applicaitons will be mailed out to rural Alaska schools. These will be going to all schools without an Auxiliary Unit to sponsor.
